1.Precisely adjust the track tension: Adjust the track tightness through the extension and retraction of the oil cylinder to prevent derailment caused by an overly loose track and accelerated wear of the track links and track rollers due to excessive tightness, significantly reducing the chassis wear rate.
2.Buffer walking impact load: The matched tension spring can absorb the impact force generated during the walking, steering and obstacle crossing of the excavator, preventing hard impact from being directly transmitted to the traveling mechanism and prolonging the service life of the drive wheel and idler.

1.Preparation before installation
Clean up sediment, mud and rust from the idler mounting seat and the track frame, ensure the mounting surface is flat and free of burrs, so as to prevent uneven stress after installation from causing deformation of the oil cylinder.
Check whether the seals and springs of the new cylinder assembly are intact, confirm that all accessories (adjusting nuts, dust caps, etc.) are complete and free from transport damage.
2.Installation Steps
1.Place the excavator track on a solid support, slowly loosen the grease nipple of the original tensioning cylinder, release the grease inside the track, and slacken the track to a detachable state.
2.Remove the old oil cylinder assembly, clean the mounting holes, align the new oil cylinder with the idler, and place it steadily into the track frame.
3.Tighten the fixing bolts evenly to avoid deformation of the cylinder barrel caused by unilateral stress; the bolt torque shall refer to the original manufacturer's standards.
4.After installation, slowly inject grease through the grease nipple to adjust the track tension.
3. Tension Adjustment Standard
1.Under no-load conditions on level ground, the track sag should be controlled at 20-30mm (i.e., the ground clearance at the middle of the track).
2.When adjusting, grease should be added slowly to prevent cracking of the cylinder barrel or damage to the oil seal caused by excessive pressure; if over-adjusted, the grease can be slowly released through the grease fitting for adjustment.
4.Daily Maintenance and Precautions
1.Regularly inspect the oil cylinder surface for oil leakage and check whether the spring is deformed or broken. Replace the oil seal promptly if leakage is found to prevent sediment from entering the oil cylinder and causing wear.
2.After each replacement of track pin bushings and track links, it is necessary to re-inspect and adjust the track tension to avoid abnormal tension caused by component wear.
